A daily does of fiber does a body good. And I need my fix. I didn't crochet or knit a damn thing this weekend and it's pissing me off.

I've been going to my local discount store for yarn the last couple of months and I have a blast each time I go. The skeins range from $1 to $1.50 and come in a limited range of colors, usually dark, so it's good enough for me. I'm pretty stocked with black yarn and a few other colors.

Good enough for me thanks, but I would like to add other yarns to my collection. No sure where I could go other than online though. I've searched high and low and haven't come close to the deals in my discount store.

In fact, the haul before last was given to me at a deep discount of only $1 per skein. I had well over $50 worth of yarn that time.

Suffice it to say I don't need more yarn, but I really REALLY want some!

I want to make these myself and I'm currently working on my practice beanie using scrap yarn. Of course I've already run out of the scrap yard so I'm on my acrylic/wool blend.

I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do based on nothing. I have no pattern to work from and I've never made a beanie before. It's not easy working around and around in a circle...well, maybe it is, but not for me. my circles a little crooked. LOL

So today my friend continued the story behind her first ever blind date and she's been obsessing about it for a week now. I told her she was twitterpated and she said, "Huh?"

I rolled my eyes and told her to Google it. Suddenly I got curious and G'd it myself. I wasn't interested in the main feed and clicked on images. After I sent her a few pic's of the twitterpated scene from bambi something else caught my attention. At first I thought it was a ring and I wanted it really bad, but then I realized it was a bracelete and now I want it REALLY bad. It's my favorite color!!!!!

OOOOOOOOOOH, this pirate ring looks so cute! and I love that they call it couture. Of course, there's nothing couture about it, but they really are cute. I love that you kind of have to be a Disney fan in order to know what any of these things are. Either that or look at them up close.

Um....there is something ever so slightly troubling about this picture. I mean, it's Tink... and a pearl...and she's just kind of sitting on it, but....I don't know, I don't think I like the angle. Looks like she's blowing a bubble out of her butt... That's kind of gross.

This beauty and the beast bracelet is adorable. I love the green vine and tiny red rose nestled on top. The only thing I wonder about it though is if the rose will end up falling on the bottom?

Okay, I am clearly in the mood to check out silly things all day long. I just can't get over how amazing some of these cat products are. You can't go to just any pet store and buy them. Any chance I get I clip and save these to my blog for later reference. Those items sit here never to be purchased.

I laugh at myself, but you know, I'm not the only crazy girl in the office that does that. My good friend and co-worker, Agent V, collects items in her Neiman Marcus basket. Thousands of dollars worth of clothing and then she just cancels it all at the end of the day.

I get it you know. It's a stress reliever. We sit here all day long staring at the computer working our butts off, answering phones, faxing and completeing this request and that request and never take a break. We're not allowed to walk around the office and be seen socializing. We're not really allowed to take a lunch break, though it's an unspoken issue never to be discussed in the open. So, rather than rest our eyes from the PC we just sit here and stare at pictures or the like. Me, I like to look at kitty stuff, write, and let my mind wander for a bit. Just until the next phone call or the next fax.

Today I've been running across so many cute items that I've already left several individual posts, but there are so many that I can't sit here thinking of things to write for each one soI decided to just post the pictures. This way I'll just have a little something to look back on if I ever have $300 or so to waste I can just come back and search the history. Isn't it a great idea? Much better than a wisty thingy. Those are a bit of a pain in the ass to use. OH, must remember to search for a book like widget for blogs! Or like a feed reader that scrolls your blog feed. YEAH...Doing that now!

This little thing is so cute! I know my kitty would love it. I bet you think I get paid for this don't you. I don't. Not any of it. Not a click or a purchase. I'm just window shopping. Hmmm...I should rename my blog in fact.

You know, this made me think about something. I don't have any babies, but I do have a spare room. I should furnish it and find a way to turn everything into a cat playground. Would that be sick?

Okay, clearly I am obsessed with a litter box solution. I had seen these things for minidoggies, but they were for real grass. Looks like they went ahead and did what I wanted to do in Australia. The only problem is who picks up the poo? There's a lovely resevoir for the kitteh peh, but what do you do if your cat has a bad diahmareah? Speeeeew! Imagine having to slop up kitteh diahmareah....* LIKE, GAG ME WITH A SPOON * * LIKE....GROSS!!!!*

Perches have been on my wish list for a long time now. Earlier this year I had a bug up my butt to find a way to make them myself. It wasn't easy and I never did get around to even begin buying the tools that I would need or the supplies, but I did at least figure out a few things that could easily get me started. Unfortunately they were ugly. I mean...FUGLEH.

It was really discouraging especially when Rigid and I started arguing in the middle of the store. Clearly one of us needed tea and the other needed to eat. Suffice it to say that the project never got started. Instead I bought supplies to make a frame. I never did get around to making the frame either. I was going to work on making my own picture frame. I even bought a way. The wood and saw are all still sitting there in the garage waiting for me to get around to it, but nothing. So why do I complain when I buy Rigid a guitar only to find that he's not interested in learning to play that guitar after all. I mean, you ask for a guitar, beg for it in fact then let it sit there when you get it. It's gathering dust in a corner of the house somewhere...

Alright that's enough complaining. The perches were what I wanted to discuss here. These are the cutest I've seen so far though I wouldn't be okay with the fur lining since the cat hair will just get completely stuck in there and will eventually be impossible to remove. Plus really....can you see me adding more material to my walls? Talk about an allergen trap. I'd be taking shallow breaths before you can count to 10. What a fantastic idea though and it looks as if it would be really easy to attach to the wall too

Itchynee is where you'll find these lovely furry cat perches. Look at that picture up there. That cat looks like it's having a blast, but would it be able to withstand the load from 5 cats? Not that they'd bombard it all at the same time just that...well, they can be a little rough, especially Grendel the youngest and largest of them all. He's also the only male. Eek...

I've been perusing the internet this morning just to see what I could find. I suppose I'm not really in the mood to do anything worthwhile and I'm too lazy right now to try anyway so here's the best that I can come up with. And trust me, these are some really great ideas. I want the perfect litterbox, cat tree that i could spend hours staring at and some perches that they could climb around on.

Those few items would make my cats very happy, but the problem is that I have 5 cats so anytime I switch to a new litterbox that I adore I may have to buy more than 2...how do you do that on a scant budget? I suppose I could try most of these things out on my own, but Rigid can't exactly help me. He's not the most creative person in the world and well...kind of boring. Doesn't even bother trying. Guess I'll have to do it myself.

Now this litterbox would be ideal. It's got a perforated top which the one at the pet store did not. Along with a very Ikeaesque look the box comes with it's very own scooper that includes a small litter brush in it's design.

They sell reusable blue liners that would make cleaning these boxes super easy. I always knew there had to be an easier way to use liners and not thrown them away. It seems so idiotic that no one thought of it before. Maybe they did and I just missed it. It was something I have been thinking about for a long time as well.

I recently discussed it with Rigid and he thought it was a great idea. Too bad we lack the resources and the ingenuity to pull it off ourselves...or could it be a lack of ambition? Don't know. Ideas are always floating out of our heads, but never onto a piece of paper or an actual prototype.

This is exactly the liner that I had been thinking of. Something sturdy that would be able to withstand the clawing, but collapsable to make it easy to clean after disposing of litter.

Seems like a great idea, but in practice I have no idea. I'm hoping that I'll be able to afford these things soon. I could really use about 3 or 4 litterboxes and they seem to take up so little space that 4 boxes would be just fine. Okay, I can deal with 3, but I really would rather have 5. One box per cat. It's silly, but I'm positive that it would help them be just that much happier.

Loreal Brings Forth The Fountain Of Youth

Some of the recommendations I've received on Loreal Paris to help me keep a youthful glow. I must admit that I'm finding some disturbing lines and wrinkles on my face that I'd like to keep at bay. As much as I enjoy seeing the odd grey hair here and there I'm not enjoying the redness, blotchiness, freckles, fine lines and deep expression lines. No fun at all.

I'm only hoping that if and when I do decide to take better care of my skin that I don't end up like I did the last time. Red and swollen or peeling and burning on my face neck and ears. It was the most horrifying experience and when I first found out I had pretty severe allergies to certain beauty products. I still blame it on antioxidants and possible overuse of the products. No reason to go to sleep with an antioxidant cream every single night at 27 years of age. Still too young to worry that much about wrinkles. Now that I'm 34 I'm starting to think that I had better re-think that little idea of mine and get with it.

Sure, going to bed freshly showered and scrubbed, rubbing antioxidant face cream all over my pillows while I slept did nothing for the beauty of ears. It took me a long time to figure out why I wasn't getting any better long after I had stopped using the cream. My ears would simply not stop peeling and peeling until I finally realized that I had to get rid of my pillow.

I'm hoping that remembering all these things will help me prevent these types of mishaps in the future. I'm hoping that if I do choose to use the Loreal facial products that I can at least cut the recommended usage in half.

I've seen this happen to many women in the past; red puffy swollen and sometimes peeling eyes because they want to get rid of those awful wrinkles. Well, I say wrinkles are the least of your worries, but I'm all for doing a little something here and there.

I think what I really want is not to have such awful allergies. Well, we'll see how it goes.

Our Third Wedding Anniversary

We're not sure what we'll get, but we definately want to go with the traditional gift and get something with leather. As usual I would prefer anything to do with photographs, but quite frankly anything will make me happy. As long as it's not a leather bracelet...I have plenty of those.

Just kidding, Rigid is looking at leather bracelets as we speak. He knows pearls are the way to my heart and he was looking at a lovley bracelet earlier with pearls. I don't know if I would actually wear a leather bracelet all that much though I wouldn't turn my nose at it.

Still, I'd rather have something I could look at.

i love my xbox live arcade, but i can't afford to buy the fun games i want. i end up buying a few hundred points and have to be as frugal as possible with them. this means i don't usually get to download any of the games i really want because i have to make sure rigid will also enjoy the game.

sure, i could be an asshole and just get whatever i want. after all, it's usually my money we're talking about, but i do take him into consideration a lot. sometimes even when he really doesn't deserve it...i just think it's only fair.

this year, a microsoft gift card would be really nice.

i want this game. i want it but good. problem is i'm not sure how good it will actually be. i've been on call of duty 4 for a really long time now. i never did acheive the rank i set out to when i finally decided to go presteige. that's a pain in the ass, but such is life.

i want to learn to speak farsi one day, so does rigid. today i decided to check out some more language learning sites. i did this a while ago, but i never did get around to doing anything about it. i was learning a few armenian words here and there when my coworker sat next to me. we sat here cursing at each other half the day. i had printed out a great list of armenian and farsi curse words, but i think i lost it.

i found this google video clip on msn. lol yeah, isn't it ironic? unfortunately it's the only one this guy ever did. too bad because i like the fact that he just threw stuff out there. he stuck to the introduction word (hello) and just went with it to form as many informal sentences as he could with it. ...something like that. i only heard bits and pieces because i'm at work and had it so low i could barely hear it myself. not to mention the fact that i simply can not remember everything that was mentioned. i'm still too sleepy this morning.

i've gotten into my dance dance revolution so much that i've FINALLY made it to DIFFICULT!!!!! okay, my scores suck ass....big time, but i'm so happy. granted, i think i nearly had a heart attack when on my first day on difficult nothing i did saved and my very first song was an A!!! i was so fucking pissed off i nearly cried.

i'm just standing there sweating like a pig and just.... awe struck. it's happened before you know. i've gotten great scores and for some reason my stuff didn't save. either i got knocked offline and didn't know or something else goes wrong. i've never EVER been as pissed off as i was yesterday.

when rigid came out and asked me what was wrong he tried to be understanding and helpful, but i shot him down so fast. no, it's not the fucking same as losing your score. it's not the same as running around like a moron on an rpg or fps or any other game you can think of. i WORKED for it. i mean, my legs are rubber, my heart is pounding and i feel dizzy because i did it longer than i should have. i'm supposed to be studying and instead i'm getting in a little work out...

i acheived something that i didn't think i'd be able to achieve. a personal accomplishment on a far different level than an "achievement" on xbox live. it's a personal achievement... this fat ass reached DIFFICULT and scored! i didn't just fail every single song miserably like i did at first.

i don't know how long i'll be able to keep this up, but i've NEVER ...NEVER EVER looked forward to a good long sweaty work out. EVER... can i stress never ever any more? probably, but i'm annoying myself. i have a pilates video box set... i never got past the introduction video. i used to have a box set of richard simons video's, again i never got past the first one. of all the video's and video box sets i've had i've never gotten past the 1st level.

going from basic to difficult is like a whole new level for me.

i started off an beginner (which i consider to be the introduction level), then basic and now difficult. okay, i have to tweak the timing & speed, but i don't care. it's still something for me.

and i wasn't able to save my progress yesterday. rigid cheered me up though. he made GOOD ribs. LOL

well, now i'm pissed off all over again because i read an article that lead me to believe konami would be coming out with a revolutionary new way to exercise.

this is konami japan.... and konami america has no intention of incorporating this into our systems. you have to watch the video clip, but can you imagine going to your bally's and working out to dance dance revolution? like a full body cardio? no fucking tai bo class or video could ever entice me to spend my money on them before, but ddr would.

i think i've heard of ddr work out classes too, but not in my area. before you know it, ddr will be in schools, gyms and everyone will want to own one.

when i first saw ddr, i laughed my ass off. i laughed at the kids as i watched them hop around. i wasn't laughing at them so much as i enjoyed watching them have so much fun. i of course never thought i'd want to do it and even when i tried gave up immediately upon realizing that it was actually hard work.

years later after having witnessed a couple of nutty kids pounding away i noticed something. it was like a revelation, an epiphany of sorts. i noticed sweat was dripping from every pore on their body. i mean, their hair was just glued to their heads, shirts stuck and pants were starting to sag a little. this was las vegas mind you so you know it's cool indoors where ever you go.

it would be years before i finally decide to get ddr for myself, mostly because even though i own a ps2 i never buy any new games for it so i had to wait for the xbox ddr. when i bought it last year i was really excited and couldn't wait to try it out. it was so fucking hard. and i'm not used to moving much so i immediately hurt my ankles and knees. i've taken a few tumbles in my time and my weight wasn't helping things either.

i kept trying, but i was too busy studying so i didn't do much last year. i eventually got a little more into it and actually made it from beginner to basic. i had to stop for a while too. my left knee and ankle were really bothering me. but since upping my medication i end up with far too much excess energy and even though i'm studying and very productive at work it just doesn't want to go away.

i thought i'd give my ddr another chance and just keep trying. i have one ankle support and i'll be getting knee support as well. it'll help restrict movement of my knee and ankle in the wrong direction. plus i need better shoes.... and a better dance pad!

buying video games that is. first of all i can't afford to buy all the video games i want. honestly i can't even afford to buy ONE video game right now and the one i really want is et:quake wars. i'd also love to buy bf: bad company.

when those games come out they'll probably be available at $60-$69 and i don't fancy paying those kinds of prices. especially when i have to share my games with my husband or buy two so we can enjoy a multiplayer match together...seperately. we don't share well. he's an only child and i'm the eldest child, sometimes it's not a great combination. i'm a know-it-all and he's a spoiled shit. so there!

i started to think about it. let's say i only buy about 3-5 full priced games a year. count at least one of those as a dupe because of our little sharing problem. at $69 a piece, what i feel is the current average new release price, that's about $345 / yr. the monthly rental rate at gamefly is about $16 a month or $192/ yr. that's saving me about $153! on top of that most games will eventually be made available to buy.

let's say you rent a game and really like it. look up the cost to purchase and you could be saving upwards of 30 bucks or more for your games. i don't know why i haven't done it before either. i'm so happy with netflix that if it weren't for that i doubt i would ever given this a chance.

now, i know a lot of people have bought the psp's. i haven't. not because i didn't want it mind you, but because i couldn't afford it and being that i don't have that much time to play it wasn't easy to talk myself out of a pointless expense. still, i've yearned for a microsoft handheld. yeah, i said yearned. i MEAN yearned. ...like in a big way.

in fact if it came down to eating or a handheld i'd choose the handheld. i can always eat 99 cent burritos all month. that and tuna...mmmm i loves me the tuna.

oh yeah, i did have a point. a mini laptop would be a great way to deliver a "microsoft handheld". so long as it was intergrated with the xbox live service i'd be happy. see, i don't really need all the microsoft bells and whisltes anymore because i mostly use google. they're coming out with more and more programs every single day. easy to use and not as complicated as microsoft word, exel or powerpoint which are all used for professional purposes anyway...at work!

ugh...i think i was trying to make a point somewhere. my brain's a bit on the mushy side this morning. once my adderall kicks my thought process might be a bit more uniform....unless i drink too much coffee in which case i'll end up sounding like a raving fucking lunatic crack headed skank. heh...

SO, again, my POINT was that i would really love to see microsoft put out any pc, laptop or wireless handheld device that is xbox live compatible connecting me to my LIVE friends 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. do we really want to be that connected? maybe, maybe not, but it'll make it a whole lot easier to stalk people.

Oh good lord I'm drooling at my desk. This Alienware notebook is awesome... And I will never in my life be able to afford one. I'll just keep on drooling because the Aurora mALX aka Elite Assasine starts at just $4,499 with a 19" screen and comes packed with what they call a "Luxurious Ownership Experience." It comes with their Razer Diamond back mouse and Ozma 7 headphones and they also include a leather binder, personalized nameplate a polo shirt and other stuff. This Respawn Recovery means nothing to me. Something about restoring your settings in case of catastrophic failure... actually it creeps me out. Another nice thing they'll do for you is preload up to three of your fav games onto the system so you can start gaming right away. You can send in your own or buy them when your building your system... You'd think for that price they'd just throw the fuckers in no? Now here's an interesting feature. Each mALX owner gets a VIP pass to take a guided tour of Alienware's corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant.... WHY? There's also a built in 1.3 mp video camera for those impromptu videoconferences... I have those all the time. I hate it when I don't have one already built in. Hmmm... It's got a full sized keyboard too. That thing must be a beast! How do you carry it? Who cares. If I could afford to buy that thing I'd sling it on my back everywhere I went... Except rollercoaster. No... I wouldn't do that.

Of course, everyone knows I've been waiting to get the 360. I nearly bought it just before Xmas but it was unavailable at the time. I'm glad it wasn't though because I wouldn't have gotten my nifty camera if it had been. I know I could be getting this instead of the phones at this point, but to hell with it. I'll get it later. I MUST have this video game. I know it's not going to be online capable, but It looks like it's going to be an awesome game and I can't wait for it to come out.

Oblivian will also be available on mobil phones around mid April also so I'm looking forward to reading more on this feature.

I really wish we could find more roleplaying games that support multiplayer. :(

I have two Playstaions, a PS One (the mini portable with a huge and bulky screen) and a PS2. I'm still not sure if I'm going to buy the PS3, but I do know I want the PSP. I held off on getting it for a long time and since I held off on it for so long I'm curious to see what portable they'll come out with next so I may never actually get this system, BUT on the off chance that I do I'll keep this up here as a reminder. Besides, I love this comercial!

Sunday, Rigid and I went to pick up some cell phones from the mall. I hate mall shopping, but we needed cells badly. He's leaving for Phoenix next week and we need to be able to communicate easily. This is the only way I'll be able to handle this separation. Well, they were out of the Razr so I was pretty upset. They told me I could exchange the phones later though so we got the phones anyway. Turns out I hate the phones we got with a passion.

I'm usually not one to care much. It's just a phone after all, but this time I was really annoyed. The Nokia didn't even have a camera attachement. I simply hadn't even noticed. That and the reception is awful so we decided to go exchange them yesterday. Rigid and I decided on the Motorola Slvr. I knew they had an "iTunes" phone, but I didn't know which one. I looked it up online and found I liked the Slvr best of all.

I could listen to up to 100 songs on my phone. Woohoo. I wanted an iPod anyway so I figured I'd do a two in one thing and be satisfied for now. Well, we did it BUT my money wasn't exactly in the bank yet. I figured it would go through though. I did it all the time with Washington Mutual. I'd charge the money on my debit card and wait for my money to deposit. Everyone does that. Ah well, we wasted all kinds of time for nothing. Nimodo. Today we shall run over to the mall once again and hopefully for the last time to get fetch our Slvr's. I'm a happy girl. :)

It costst 300 for 30 gb or 400 for 60 gb. It's even smaller then the original iPod. There's an optional Camera Connector that lets you shoot pic's then transfer them to the iPod for your viewing pleasure. No need to drag a digi cam around. I like it! A 20 hr battery life sounds great too. And though a full charge will take about 4 hrs it can be at about 80% capacity in 2 hrs.

You can play slideshows with music on your TV with an options iPod A/V cable. You can also get a docking station and an Apple Remote. It has a 320x240 pixel QVGA color display... Que es QVGA? Who cares. I must have this. If I don't get this I'll hold my breath until I do. I don't expect I should be still holding it in about 2... maybe 3 months. lmao
